As marcas ficaram famosas por terem desenvolvido modelos que fizeram sucesso no Brasil, como&nbsp;Astra, Corsa e&nbsp;Meriva.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">De acordo com a ag\u00eancia Reuters, as conversas entre as fabricantes est\u00e3o avan\u00e7adas. O plano da GM seria focar em projetos de mobilidade e de ve\u00edculos aut\u00f4nomos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A alem\u00e3 Opel foi adquirida pela GM em 1929 e quase vendida para a Magna, empresa canadense que produz componentes automotivos.
